This dog park opened in 2001 and is owned by Gretchen Zimmer. This dog park has three separate areas: one for big dogs, one for small dogs (under 45lb),and one for puppies under 6 months old. This dog park has a pond and small water fall, and lots of shade. To use this private park you must become a member and obtain an electronic pass to enter; all dogs and owners are interviewed and proof of vaccinations are required. Visitors are allowed for $10 on Saturdays.

The manager is convinced that all dogs, with the exception of her own, are inherently aggressive. Preferred dogs are those that interact solely with their owners, i.e. chase balls. Any dog that actually (gasp!) interacts with other dogs is branded "aggressive" and that dog's owner is treated to a lecture on dog aggression and advised to seek training. It's a lot of money to spend to be lectured by someone who hasn't the first clue about canine behavior.
